Valentine Crafts for Kids - Laced Valentine Heart Card
Filled with love, this valentine craft is sure to please!

Materials

cardstock paper
3/8" ribbon
hole punch
scissors
stickers, glitter or other 
decorations (optional)

Directions
Begin by cutting two identical hearts from the cardstock paper.
They should be about 4-5 inches wide if you plan on putting candy inside.
Punch holes around the edges. Begin threading the ribbon with the first
hole at the top right corner of the heart.

Continue "sewing" through the rest of the holes. 
Write a message on the back of your heart pocket and add stickers, 
glitter etc. to the front if desired. Place a few candies or stickers 
inside the "pocket" and tie a bow.

Fold you two pieces of paper together , draw half of a heart on the fold, cut along your line and you will have two perfect hearts. We find using a cookie cutter to make you half heart produces better results.
