where they will receive a small amount of lipstick, blush and eye
shadow and of course...glitter! If you have not already suggested

dress up clothes and a mirror.

PRINCESS BIRTHDAY PARTY GAMES & ACTIVITIES
We've provided several princess party ideas for you to choose from.
Pick according to age of the children length of your party
and your party space.

Pass the Tiara Game
Play this game just as you would "Hot Potato".
Position the girls into a circle. Pass a fancy princess tiara from player
to player, around the circle while music is playing.
When the music stops the player holding the tiara will sit in the center
for one round or she can be in charge of the music for one round.

The Princess is missing her favorite things!
Place several items on a tray or cookie sheet.
Try to find items that work with the theme.
Tiara, lipstick, Wand or royal scepter, Silver spoon
Jewelry, Handkerchief etc.
One player leaves the room. Remove one or two items from the tray. When the player returns they must guess what's missing. Everyone gets a turn.

Princess Puzzler
Before the party -- Print out Princess pictures from the Internet or use a coloring book. Attach each picture onto some construction paper with a glue stick.
Cut the pictures into 2, 3, or 4 puzzle pieces. Hide the pieces around the party area. The girls each need to find one puzzle piece and then find the the players with the matching piece/s.

Crown the Princess
Play just as you would "Pin the Tail on the Donkey".
Enlist an artistic teen to draw a simple princess on a piece of poster board. Draw and cut several tiaras from card stock paper.  On the day of the party, add double stick tape to one side of the tiaras and write the girl's names on the other. Use a pink satin sash for the blindfold.

Make and Take Princess Body Glitter

Girls can mix their own body glitter with this simple recipe.
You'll Need
cup aloe vera gel
fine polyester glitter (any color, available at most craft stores)
One small cosmetic travel container for each girl -
the kind you might put hand cream in with a screw top.
To Make: Fill the containers 1/4 full with aloe gel. Pour a small amount of glitter in the container. Provide wood craft sticks or plastic coffee stir straws to the girls for mixing. Add more gel until the mix is complete. Close the lid. Decorate sticker labels with gel pens and attach it to the container.

Princess Face Painting
Purchase standard face paint or make your own.
Images to paint for this theme are: roses, tiaras, glass slippers, twinkling diamonds or stars, castles and hearts. We use a very fine dusting glitter
to make every picture sparkle. You can find this in crafts stores or in the cosmetic department. Some children don't want a picture but may want
to have sparkling cheeks, Use Aloe Vera gel and the glitter applied with
a Q-tip. Check out our sample images >>

Make your own Tiara

A tiara craft kit will save you time and energy and keep little princesses
entertained. Cover your work space and allow the little princess's to create their own tiara to wear and take home.

Make Your Own Princess Wand or Sceptor
Use small dowel pieces, craft foam, glitter glue, very thin ribbon
and a hot glue gun (ADULT ONLY).

Before the party, paint all of the dowel pieces with silver spray paint
and cut the craft foam stars. You may be able to find pre-cut stars at
your craft store. At party time the girls will decorate the stars with
glitter glue. Attach the stars to the wands with the hot glue gun.
Then then the girls, with help can tie pieces of ribbon to their wands
for extra ornamentation.

Pretty as a Princess Frame

Decorate craft foam picture frames (craft store) with glitter glue and stick on jewels. Use a Polaroid or digital camera to take pictures when the girls are all dressed up and wearing their tiaras. Each girl will have their own picture and frame to take home.

Glitter Princess Clay
Make a batch or two of pink play dough.
Provide each child with a ball of dough and some fine glitter (craft store). The children will work the glitter into the dough. Package each of the guests dough into a Zip -loc bag to be taken home as a party favor.

Pink Princess Party Favors
Say "thank you for coming to my party", with a fun filled princess goody bag. Make your own with pretty pink tulle fabric. Cut squares of fabric. Place the party favors in the center of the square. Gather up the edges
and tie with a satin bow. Suggested princess party favors: lip gloss, necklace, stick-on jewels, stickers, ring, hair ties, nail polish, pink and purple markers, pink or purple play-dough, pink candy.
