To make invitations with your own special touch...
Trace a musical note or guitar cookie cutter onto the cardstock paper.
Enlist the birthday girl to trim the edges of the shape with a glitter glue pen. On the front write with a gel pen....
"It's no secret _______'s having a rockin' birthday party"
then include the party details on the other side of the card.

HANNAH MONTANA PARTY DECORATIONS
This is a pre-teen birthday theme, so you'll want to create a relaxed
"hang-out" atmosphere. Fill the area with the standard matching
party decorations; streamers, balloons and table ware. Add plenty of floor pillows or bean bag chairs to the part area where the the girls can spend time listening to music, talking, giggling or maybe watching some recorded episodes of the show.

If your party is 1 1/2 - 2 hours long you should plan two -three activities
to keep guests entertained and allow for cake and gifts. We always keep
an easy activity in our back pocket (such as coloring sheets, just in case and remember to be flexible.

MAKEOVER - MILEY STYLE
Hannah Montana's popularity is due in part to her unique sense of fashion. Girl's love the style, flair and accessories! Have fun with make-up, scarves, hats, jewelry etc. You may want to invite a fun teenager or mom to help with the makeover. Take pictures with a digital camera that you can print during the party. The guests can decorate their own picture frame with craft foam, stickers, gel pens etc.

It's Showtime!
After the makeover is complete, it's time for the show!
Provide a Karaoke Machine with CD's and the girl's will have a ball singing alone, in a group and maybe even adding their own choreography.
Kit's Tip: Although a Karaoke machine seems like an extravagant addition
to a birthday party, it can double as a birthday gift. My pre-teen daughter
used her machine at every sleepover and was even asked to bring it
along when she went to other homes! Don't forget to purchase some Karaoke CD's as well.

Body Glitter
Girls can mix their own body glitter during the party to take home using
this simple recipe.
You'll Need:
cup aloe vera gel
fine polyester glitter (any color, available at most craft stores)
One small cosmetic travel container with a screw top, for each girl.

To Make:
Fill the containers 1/4 full with aloe gel. 
Pour a small amount of glitter in the container. Provide wood 
craft sticks or plastic coffee stir straws to the girls for mixing.
Add more gel until the mix is complete. Close the lid.
Decorate mailing labels with gel pens and attach it to the container.

Quick and Easy Party Games for This Theme
Here's a list of simple games to include when you need an extra activity...
Pass the Microphone - play just like Hot Potato with a Hannah CD playing.
What's Missing - place several items on a tray or in a travel cosmetic bag; Hannah cd, lip-gloss, fashion accessories etc. One player leaves the room. Take an item away. When the player returns, can she guess what's missing?

Want to create you own unique party favor?
Shop at garage sales or thrift stores to find unique hats. Similar to some
of the ones Hannah Montana wears to make her own fashion statement.
Then fill the hats with fun goodies. Or, fill a pillow case with unique fashion accessories; earrings, hats, wacky leggings, scarves, bangles etc.
The girls can each select on or two and then you can give them a
a prepared bag (pink, purple or blue) that has some additional party favors.
For fun let the girls trade their accessories like a white elephant sale.
