party guide,
including party games, activities, decorations and birthday cake ideas.

Littlest Pet Shop Birthday Party Supplies
For stress-free party planning,
order a Littlest Pet Shop party kit.
Then add the games and suggestions provided below to
complete your
party plan. Give yourself 3-4 weeks to prepare, enlist
help and don't
forget to have fun!
LITTLEST PET SHOP PARTY
DECORATIONS
Decorate with plenty of
festive balloons and streamers.
Add to your theme
by creating the Littlest Pet Shop Village or forest
using poster board and butcher paper. Add paw prints, flowers,
trees etc. placing
them on the walls and floor. Drape you furniture
with bright fabric and fill the room with as many puppy
stuffed animals as you can find.
If you feel creative, transform a large refrigerator box into a
pet house.
It's a fabulous decoration and the kids can also play in
it during the party.
A SPECIAL PET SHOP WELCOME
Upon arrival give each guest a pair of their own animal ears.
You can make these by attaching felt ears to an inexpensive
painter cap from a paint or hardware store.
Enlist a teenage or adult helper to face paint a simple nose and whiskers on each child.
Invite the children to draw and decorate a "Pet House"
(large appliance box),
with markers,
while they are waiting for all of the guests to
arrive and receive their face painting. This activity is also
effective for settling the children down at the end of the party -
parents will really appreciate the thought!
LITTLEST PET SHOP BIRTHDAY PARTY GAMES
Select a few easy games. After each game the children
will receive Pet Shop kibble to redeem for prizes or
treats such as stickers, jewelry fruit snacks etc.
Have a dog biscuit scavenger hunt. Write numbers on the bones
before
hiding, then the children will receive a prize that corresponds to the
number on their bone.
Water bowl relay races with real pet bowls
Hopstacle Course
Players will hop like bunnies through an obstacle course you've created
with pillows, tires, boxes, chairs etc.
Lilly Pad Hopping
A favorite with Littlest Pet Shop frogs. Make fabric or felt lily pads
and place
them in a circle or randomly. Play music while the kids hop from pad to
pad.
Or they can walk around the pads and when the music stops everyone has
to find a pad ( just like musical chairs).
Pin the tail on the puppy, tail on the cat, ears on the rabbit,
wing on the
penguin...your child can select their favorite VIP. Then enlist a
talented
teen to draw your pet on poster board. Use "sticky-tak" and paper for the
games pieces.
instead of Duck, Duck Goose,
Play "Dog, Dog, Cat" - Frog, Frog, Turtle
or any other variation.
Kibble Bean Bag Toss
Provide a few bean bags and a large dog food bowl.
The children will take turns trying to get the bean bags into the
bowl from a designated spot.
Animal Match: Before the party print out some large
pictures of Littlest Pet
Shop VIP Animals. Cut the pictures in half. Then hide them. Each child will
find one half of a picture. They then need to find the player who has the
other half that matches their own.
Provide a few Littlest Pet Shop coloring books/sheets and crayons for a
quiet activity.
A FAVORITE LITTLEST PET SHOP PARTY CRAFT

Collect empty boxes before the party ;shoe boxes, cereal boxes
etc.
Provide colorful paper, sticky backed craft foam, craft foam
flowers, glue sticks, scissors etc. The children can cover and
decorate their very own littlest pet house to take home.
LITTLEST PET SHOP BIRTHDAY PARTY TREATS
Serve your pet shop fans lovers sandwiches cut with animal
cookie cutters.
Veggies and dip, fruit chunks. Goldfish and animal crackers are
always a hit with a younger crowd!
LITTLEST PET SHOP BIRTHDAY CAKE IDEAS

Puppy Paw Cup Cakes
Bake and frost cup cakes. Use candies to make your paw prints.
We use large mint patties with small mints, like junior mint
candies.
Dog Bowl Birthday Cake
You'll need a new large dog bowl, pound cake, and pudding and
cookie
crumbs. Cut the cake into cubes. Place some of the cubes
into the bowl.
Add a layer of pudding and then another layer of cake cubes then
pudding
again. Tops with cookie crumbs. Use long thin party
candles when it's
time to serve. Serve in small dog bowls.
Party Favors
Say thank you for coming with unique and
party favors that match your pet shop party theme. Use a paw
rubber stamp, to decorate the outside a
paper party bag or "to-go" container (craft store) Fill the bag with home
