or fill with
Curious George party favors to take home.
You'll Need:
brown paper cups
brown construction paper
plastic google eyes
glue stick and/or a hot glue gun
Cut four semi-circles for each bag. Use a glue stick to attach one
semi-circle on each side for the ears, two
for the mouth, so that they almost create a circle. Use the hot glue gun
(adult) to attach the eyes just above the mouth. Fill the bag with tissue paper or
shredded paper (Easter grass). Add candy, fruit snacks, banana chips,
crayons, stickers etc. For place holders, make a paper circle with
the
guests name and place the cup onto the circle.
CURIOUS GEORGE PARTY GAMES AND ACTIVITIES
Upon arrival, transform your guests into Curious George with monkey ears
and tails. You can make the ears with stiff felt or craft foam glued to a head band. The tails are simply a long strip of
brown fabric tied around the waist with a long piece dangling behind. Be sure
you don't make the tail so long that it gets in the way when playing games.
Coloring sheets
Provide coloring sheets, crayons and markers for the children as an
ice-breaker activity. this will also keep them busy while they
wait
for all of the children to arrive or at the end of the party while
waiting for mom and dad.

mouth.

distance from the box and get the bean bags into George's mouth.

Clip a clothes pin onto each image. The object of the game is stand on a stool
and simply drop the clothes pins into the hat. The children stand in a line and take turns. Every one gets a small prize after taking their
turn. You can also play this with 3-4 monkey beanie toys. and toss the monkeys

Monkey-ing Around
Don't forget that Curious George has acquired his title from being
playful and mischievous...
If you have a large kid-safe party room provide several balls in a
variety
of sizes for the kids to play with. Exercise balls, beach balls
and foam balls
are particularly fun to play with. Play some music and have fun!
Bubbles
Use a giant bubble wand to make bubbles for the kids to catch.
Not that we would ever encourage kids to color on the walls...
but it is one of George's favorite activities. Cover a large wall space
or appliance box with white butcher paper. Give the kids some crayons
or paint and see what they create!
